Tomorrow is the solstice. It amuses me that the longest day of the year, MID SUMMER is when our calendars tell us it’s actually summer. After tomorrow the days will begin getting shorter once more, the nights will start to creep in on us and the BLASTED heat will diminish. Summertime used to be long days with a book, reading good and bad literature, going to the mall with my friends. Now (this week at least) it’s school school school.
