I love it when they pay
So, remember Clemmens in Frybourg?
He begged to be unblocked. I gave him the day unblocked to make reparations for being a pussy, and he paid up. I love that! It always thrills me when guys pay!!
So, in honor of Clemmens a british nursery rhyme that has nothing to do with Germany (that I know of) but reminds me of him…
“Oranges and lemons” say the Bells of St. Clement’s
“You owe me five farthings” say the Bells of St. Martin’s
“When will you pay me?” say theBells of Old Bailey<
"When I grow rich" say the Bells of Shoreditch
"When will that be?" say the Bells of Stepney
"I do not know" say the Great Bells of Bow
"Here comes a Candle to light you to Bed
Here comes a Chopper to Chop off your Head
Chip chop chip chop - the Last Man's Dead."
erm, except for that last part about chopping off heads!!
All told, this is quite a bit lighter than the fare I have been reading for class… and You all will love the subject of my annotated bibliography (no actual paper for this one, thank God)
The Marquis deSade. Technically it’s more like, eroticism in the french novel circa, 0000 etc… but the major focus is deSade. For a couple of reasons, mostly because, between you and me… research with an honest to goodness academic library and access to the most amazing sources is so damn sexy and who wouldn’t want to try to do something ballsy like research deSade and all that wonderful stuff he wrote about and call it homework. academic homework…??
I leave you with the definition of sadism, courtesy of the Oxford English Dictionary:
[ad. F. sadisme, f. the name of the Count (usually called ‘Marquis’) de Sade (1740-1814; infamous for his crimes and the character of his writings)
A form of sexual perversion marked by a love of cruelty. Now understood as cruelty that evidences a subconscious craving and is apparently satisfied, sexually or otherwise, by the infliction of pain on another by means of aggressive or destructive behaviour or the assertion of power over that person; also loosely, deliberate or excessive cruelty morbidly enjoyed.
and if you were wondering, yes… yes I am.
