happy feet

these came from B for Thanksgiving– don’t you love the color of my mom’s kitchen flooring? It’s about — holy fuck! 10 years old. OMG. hahaha I have an anniversary this weekend *blush* but you’ll have to call me to find out what it is– I only just realized. Anyhow the shoes are Kenneth Cole and absolutely adorable. They fit like a dream and I love the little accents– the laced up side and the itty bitty bow! too cute!! thank you b!!

another view of the shoes! How gorgeous, huh?

These are, as my mom called them when I brought them over to show her “serious fuck-me pumps”. Mom, being every inch the tease I am– I had to learn somewhere, didn’t I? Lamented the fact that her feet are about 2 sizes smaller than mine because she would love to wear them– awww!! I love how strappy they are, and although the pic doesn’t show it very well, the heel is silver (coated plastic) with rhinestones set into thebase/area where the heel joins the shoe.
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your have a wondful weekend, and with that, I present my list of things I am Thankful For (in no order)
- my family— no matter how much they irritate the crap out of me, they can still be really cool and I love them all to bits.
- my job. I love being a phonesex operator (fantasy facilitator). It is just the kind of job for me, where I am kept entertained and brings me new and unusual methods of self-abuse
- CalState colleges & semi free health clinics– it would have cost me @ least $140 last week to hear that I had sciatica and give me the muscle relaxers and painkillers I am on, but id didn’t cuz there’s a health center w/ a licensed doc and nurse practitioner on campus and you dont have to pay to see them.
- graduating with 2 AAs– I am so freaking thankful that I graduated the JC and was accepted into a cal state college!!
- My professors @calstate. God, I love them. They are so full of live and interest and passion for their subjects that it is hard not to feel that I am extremely privileged to be going to a campus such as this. (and be able to have as much fun as I am.
- Barnes and Nobel/Waldenbooks/Borders/Amazon. I am in love with books.
- 35degree temperatures– yes that is farenheit.
- maple pecan bon bons from see’s candies.
- knitting– having a hobby with a tangible result for my efforts that is not only a magnificent outlet for creativity, but an amazingly tactile experience.
- there’s about 11 months until the 2008 presidential elections!!!
