I took a break over the weekend, and after the break I realized how much I miss having calls. I didn’t have them for so long that even a teeny break felt like forever. So bring em on, let me let out my naughty side with you.

In further news… I got two packages this week, one was the socks (pictured below) and another was a box with more socks, hot pink tights, and my very favorite, McVittie’s Chocolate and Carmel Digestives! yay! and they are all for me and I will NOT be sharing. (I love digestives, I have a pretty hard time coming by them these days, since the last british grocer left town now I have to drive to Santa Monica or remember when the Indian grocery is open which is a pain because they keep weird hours).

In a few weeks I will be confirming (hopefully) my upcoming trip to the United Kingdom. Also coming in a few weeks, the first birthday of my beautiful Alice. I expect to get as many gifts as she does, *hint*

So many thanks to Alan again, for sending me Smallville Season 8. I ordered season 7 with a GC from my bootboy a week ago, and season 8 came first!! Now we just have to wait until next month until season 9 comes out and season 10 starts up on the CW. Most of the best people are gone so I don’t know what to say, it will be the last season, so we’ll see.

Did you see the lovely bottle of raspberry vodka? some of my forced intox guys have been drinking this of late and I made one of them tribute me so I could go get some myself. The bottle itself is really pretty. I haven’t tasted the vodka. also, like the cup? I got it at Starbucks. I love the handleless coffee cups. They are really pretty. I have 3 bigger ones, one in the color of my office, one that’s nearly the same as my comforter cover, and a white one. I need at least 1 more to round out the collection but people are asking ridiculously stupid prices for them on ebay. $20 plus $9 shipping. That is insanity, that is.

So, do you like the close up of my bed? I love the wrought iron inserts on the head and footboard. They are oak leaves and acorns, which supposedly are good for fertility, but hey. I have had the bed since I turned 18 and fucked ALOT in it (but probably more out of it, so who knows?) and haven
t gotten that pregnant.

I emphasize with both of the characters. There’s a heavy bit of empathy towards the character of Lee, the Secretary, for both her inner struggles and the way her need or want for pain blossoms. But there’s also a tremendous strength in her, she meets Edward–the dominant– head to head, submissively but in a way that manages to let her hold her own. She is what I would like to think of as the perfect submissive, someone who is submissive by choice and a hundred percent sure of that choice. I also admire her spunk and the way she commands his attention.

On the other hand, in Edward I emphasize with his inner turmoil. As hard as it is for someone to admit that they like pain (we are wired to dislike pain, it’s instinctual) socially we are taught nearly from birth that it is even worse to want to give pain. The pleasure he takes in her discomfort is unsettling to him, even though it is pleasurable. He feels conflicted and it’s a conflict I understand completely. I also just love how totally and completely he fucks with her mind– this isn’t simple tie me up and spank me stuff here, this is the real deal.

Let’s talk about how I am loving that I am taking calls again– I missed all of you, it was a lonely sad year for me last year, but thankfully it’s over and this year is looking up,  up, up! With the exception of Thursdays I should be here on a regular basis.
